Welcome parents and students! I hope you find this blog as useful and exciting as I do! This is a great communication pathway from class to home AND an incredible tool for students who are absent for the day. Check back regularly to see what is happening in this class!!!
It is all about the C's!

Storyboarding 2-18-10
Students worked on vocabulary review for 15 minutes to complete pages 111-116. Ms. Kaufman passed a big piece of blank paper to each student and showed them how to fold it to create their big storyboard. Students are encouraged to make 8 or 10 even squares. Examples were shown to illustrate what quality work looks like and how the squares on the storyboard match up with the planning page we completed earlier in the week. Students had 20 minutes to work on their personal narrative stuff...planning form, rough draft or storyboard.
