Caught Ya Targets:  compound sentences, independent clauses, conjunctions, homophones, proper nouns, commas with a serious of nouns and to set a part "too".
Caught Ya Vocabulary:  waggish, lame, vapid, barbs

The story continues......
Here is the next part of the story to be copied and corrected: 
to hidehis admiration of felicia William waggish makes a tasteless but funny joke about girls.  noone listened aned everyone turned their head in alessandras direction to here her story.  they too were used too Williams lame poems vapid jokes and friendly barbs

Talking partner activity:
Students worked together to define the "Caught Ya Vocabulary" as it fits the context of the story.
Students worked together to complete "Compound Sentence Worksheet" by identifying:  nouns, verbs and conjunctions in compound sentences.
