5th Hour
What we talked about in class today was how to get on the class agenda but also you need to check it often when we are working in the computer lab to see whats going on.  You'll find the Agenda folder in Ms. Kaufman's English folder on the network.  You get there by clicking on the "share" drive found under "my computer".  The class novel is going to be for two-three weeks is the giver by Lois Lowry it is about very differant culturs and times NO SPOILERS!!!   Today in the lab, we did an author search.  Next week, we'll be back to study the genre terminology and vocabulary terms that we'll find throughout the book.  Ms. Kaufman is going to use a variety of comprehension worksheets to help teach the book.  For example, she mentioned using a compare/contrast diagram to determine the likenesses and differences between a Utopian Society and a Dystopia.  This is all next week.........Our homework this weekend is very easy-a vocabulary studysheet for unit 2? We have no other home work for monday.
