We were given 15 minutes to work on our new unit 12 wordsheets, and because we were missing two boxes we had to pick up two sheets.The study sheets will be due the day of the test( Thursday, April 1st), and any incomplete work will not be accepted.This means it must be completly finished.In class we graded unit 12 synonyms and antonyms, and went over grammar pages 297 and 299.A dialouge tag describes how a person is talking, exp:He jeered at me one day.When you say that you are able to visualize the actions someone is doing while talking.We partnered up and wrote a conversation with dailogue tags, and the minimum is 10 lines.Ms. Kaufman gave us characters in which to write the conversation for example, police officer and speeder. We will finish the conversations tomorrow.The homework is completing the sentence and vocab in context will be due thursday(3-25-09), and catch up in the personal narratives. We are wrapping the personal narratives and turning in the final copy next monday(3-29-10).EXTRA CREDIT!Literary Magazine- Yearbook Publications presents the annual 31st addition to the Literary Magazine. Drop your poems, short stories, plays, vignettes, sketches, and prose-poetry off in the appropriate box in the office. All pieces must be identified. Please NO anonymous submissions. Deadline is April 23rd!
