Ending to personal Narratives
Copy down in your personal narrative notes the follwing endings:
- Tell how you feel.
- Tell what you learned.
- Tell what you accomplished.
- Make a comparison.
- State a wish or hope.
- Use a universal word: eveyone, everyday, everyhting, always.
- circle back to the hook to use the same form.
- Exam on monday-Unit 11 vocab
- Monday bring all personal naritve stuff.

-Monday the 22nd we are going to the computer lab to check out an autobiography of biography for trimester 3 book project. If you already have one bring it.

Personal Narrative Target Skills: First Person (organizational and composing)
skill: Must use first person point of view
Writer can't tell waht other people were thinking or feeling.
use only:the pronouns: I, me, my, mine, us ,our, ours.
practiced the new skill in groups with the prompt of going to a party...we shared them aloud
Homework: apply the new skills to the second draft
Grammar: worked on grammer packet Pg 287 and 297. Ms. Kaufman read over all of the rules with us and then we did the practice parts together.Did the bottem of 287 adding periods, question marks, and exclamations points.
Don't forget to bring in your NEW NEWS signed on Monday!!! Also, go to twitter and take the commaIQ test that Ms. Kaufman tweeted us.
Note: you can work on your career project and book project at any time........keep up with your personal narrative we are at the point of having our second draft completed and adding in transitions and first person point of view.
