NO ZERO ZONE!

Students and Parents, starting today, the class policy is making a shift.  I will no longer accept zeros.  Zeros means that the work hasn't been done and thus, the learning isn't taking place.  In addition, zeros create a more difficult situation to recover from and succeed in English.  Students will be assigned a study lunch, after school penalty hall or Friday penalty hall to have the chance to make up the work and not take the zero.  This will be a win-win situation for everyone.  Last tri-mester, I witnessed really great work ethic slowly decline and unfortunately, too many zeros on larger assignments.  Thank you for your support from home on this situation.  If you have any questions, feel free to email me at anglea.kaufman@bedford.k12.mi.us
