11-7-11 What goes into chocolate chip cookies?
We are moving right along with our personal narrative unit. So far, we've looked at the main purposes of learning and practicing personal narratives and brainstormed personal experiences that fit the categories of sad, angry, scared, happy, or embarrassing from which 1 was selected. Over the weekend they completed a practice plot map. Today, we took notes on "INGREDIENTS" that make up a personal narrative just like certain ingredients make up chocolate chip cookies and when to make new paragraphs. Lastly, we started today our big story boards which will be used next week in the computer lab to make photo stories! FUN!
